My husband and I couldn't have found a more perfect rental for our month in Cozumel. The house was in a perfect location, extremely comfortable and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the gas grill and cooking at home. The service was impeccable. We appreciated that the router was moved from the upstairs unit to Casa Topaz so that we were able to use our magic jack without a computer and the speedy replacement of one of the air conditioner units.

From our arrival at the villa until our departure, everything was perfect. The home and courtyard are beautiful.
Everything was incredibly clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed waking every morning and having coffee under the palapa.
Very relaxing listening to the birds and the waterfall cascading into the pool. There a movies and a great TV inside.
I found it hard to stay out of the courtyard though when we were at the home.
Daily maid service kept the home as spotless as when we arrived. The pool was cleaned daily.
We could walk to restaurants, shop in town or the Chedraui market that was super close and convenient.
We felt very safe during our whole visit. We parked our rental cars inside the courtyard every evening.
Mrs. Lasater's home is an incredible value and she is a pleasure to deal with.
We can't wait to go back.

We have been traveling to Cozumel for 18 years and have stayed in most of the accommodation types from beachfront resorts to apartments. I own a timeshare on the Island but prefer to stay here. Everything about Villa Topaz is top shelf with obvious attention to the little details that make a vacation special. From the refreshing pools to the outside palapa dining area it has become our home away from home. The outside dive equipment rinse tank and storage area is convenient, secure and well thought out. The beds are especially comfortable and the rooms tastefully decorated. The maid service is efficient, thorough and always with a smile.

The management company quickly corrects any problems that may arise.
One of the major disadvantages of all-inclusive resort stays is missing the wonderful dining opportunities available to you. From taquerias to fine restaurants there are many wonderful choices, many within walking distance. The fully equipped kitchen is a nice alternative if you feel like staying in and two large super markets are close by.

Casa Topaz is a reasonably priced, extremely comfortable, well located choice for a family trip to Cozumel.

This was our 4th year enjoying the hospitality and the service at Casa Topaz. We look forward to our return each year and are never disappointed to find the casa just as great (sometimes even better because of all the niceties the owner adds) as we remember it. We look forward all year to our next visit.
The staff are all very pleasant and efficient. The pool is kept sparkling; the garden is always tidy; the maid is thorough; there is always lots of pure water for drinking and washing. The laundry facility is a bonus; any problems are solved promptly and efficiently.
This year has been a slow year in Cozumel for tourism. The economy and the reports in the news media have caused a lot of visitors to avoid Mexico. Our experience has always been one of welcome, safety and comfort.

Our "home" in Cozumel is extremely secure and private. We have never experienced anything but hospitality and courtesy from the locals and our neighbors. There is always a friendly hello from all of the people we meet.

There are many lovely restaurants within walking distance of the casa. Some are very basic while others are
close to "fine dining" both in food and service. Something for all tastes.

As that was our 1st trip to Cozumel, we really didn't know what to expect. As it turned out we were very pleased we chose Casa Tomas over any hotel there in Cozumel. We plan on returning next year, and depending how many divers we can get to come with us, we plan on staying with you every trip we make.
we would like to rent the whole house next year if we can get enough people to go.

We had a great, adventurous vacation in Cozumel over Christmas.
Working with GoCozumel was easy and reassuring. Because we had never been to Mexico and never made international reservations online, I was a little nervous about everything.
But, the staff of GoCozumel was fantastic to work with. They were professional and efficient, yet friendly and put my mind to ease right away. Everything they advertised turned out to be what we expected. We stayed at Villa Zaztun, in the Amethyst apartment. The owners/managers were awesome!!
We were welcomed and assisted with our plans the entire time we stayed there. Sarah and Tommie are wonderful, friendly people and we really enjoyed getting to know them during our stay. They helped us with recommendations for restaurants, grocery shopping, and activities. Their recommendations were usually right on. They really helped us have a more authentic experience of Cozumel, which is exactly what we wanted.
The apartment was in a good location - walking distance from the center of town, shopping, activities, the 'real' San Miguel shopping area and taxis if we wanted to go further away. The apartment was spacious, with all of the facilities we needed, just like the photo. In fact better than the photo because we had an apartment sized oven instead of a two burner cooker and the roof has been decorated and improved since the photo, with tables, two hammocks, tile, a BBQ and a covered seating area.
We loved the roof! We mot definitely would stay there again and plan to tell anyone we know who might be going to Cozumel. Thank you GoCozumel for making our vacation so easy.

"We have stayed in Cozumel on vacation since 1990. Usually twice a year. We started renting houses about 6-7 years ago.
Island House was by far the nicest place we have stayed at. Absolutely beautiful grounds.
It seemed as if we were surrounded by a lush garden paradise. We wanted privacy so that we could relax and it couldn't have been more perfect. We didn't want a maid, pool boy, maintenance guy or anyone else and they honored our request.
I greatly appreciate that. We treated it as we would our own home. Pedro was such a nice guy and explained everything to us.
We enjoyed working with him. The Vonage phone and internet service were a wonderful addition to our vacation.
I have my own business and was able to stay in touch daily which was a huge relief to me.
We have emailed lots of pictures to our friends and family and told them how nice it was. We are trying to get a family vacation put together for next year in Cozumel. I can promise we will be working around the dates of Island House.

"Magnificent" This home has everything you could want in a vacation stay. Not only is it beautiful. It is designed to accommodate small or larger groups (there were five in our party). The grounds are beautiful and immaculate.
The pools (yes, there are two, one flowing into the other) are pristine.
Maid service is daily except Sunday and is very conscientious.
We had breakfast under the palapa. I listened to the fountain through our bedroom window at night, and we walked a very short distance to shopping. You don't even have to pack a beach towel because they're provided. It's obvious that the owner takes great pride in making sure guests have everything they need. We'll be back."

We had a great time in Cozumel. The condo was as advertised and was much nicer than the places we normally stay.
Poncho met us at the airport got us settled and was on time when we checked out.
The maid service was great, again, something we normally don’t experience when we rent condos or houses in other locations.
It was a great value, and, we have already recommended it to some other folks we met on the dive boat.

"As you recommended our stay at Casa Familiar was all anyone could ever hope for. Our accommodations were everything you had said and then some. The location was perfect. Our group ranged in age from 18 to 70. Party life-restaurants- grocery stores-- all in close vicinity. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The views were terrific. The pools - hot tubs--sandy relaxing areas-snorkeling-etc were terrific. Catching a cab to get around the city was very easy (Door man took care of this). We had a rented car to travel the island. We took part in many of the activities available (hang gliding-4-wheeler trip--visit the ruins--visit the large park south of town--submarine dive-snorkeling and scuba dive--zip line High fly-Swim with dolphins).

We ate many meals out. From along the ocean front to open front local restaurant with the menu written on yellow walls in red letters all in Spanish. We had a excellent dinner at the restaurants on the top of El Cantil. The most absolutely fantastic dinner was at the Casa Mission. Every thing we ate was very VERY GOOD. From the Grocery store items, light lunch to the complete dinners.

No one had any ill effects. We drank the water from the specified tap in the condo and bottled water else where.
Never!! did we feel a concern about safety. From small bars off of the main path to the younger ones being out to late at night.
The Mexican people were very helpful- friendly and nearly always with a big smile.

"Just returned home this morning and had to let you know how much we enjoyed EVERYthing about Casa del Arte! It was beautifully decorated and absolutely luxurious! The location was ideal, within walking distance of all the good stuff; shopping, night life, local flavor, Chedrau, parks, anything one could be looking for!
The pool and beach area were impressive, as well as the snorkeling area right in the back yard. We even rented equipment there! Claudia, Ramon, and everyone at El Cantil, were gracious hosts, making us feel right at home. The food at Wynston's was also first-class! The jacuzzi on the terrace was a perfect way to wrap up a busy, but exciting, day in Cozumel!

"We just got back yesterday and I wanted to write you and say a million “thank yous"! The penthouse was the most amazing place EVER! We knew it would be nice but pictures just don’t do that place justice. My family and I were completely blown away. Not only was the place immaculate, but the staff was so wonderful. Claudia, Raymond, Alfredo, Ema… no words can describe their kindness and
how special they made us feel.
Not only was the place and people amazing but the view was worth the price of admission all by itself. We spent every morning sipping coffee on the terrace watching the boats and the water and we spend every evening in the hot tub drinking margaritas and pina coladas.

That was the first time I had visited without staying on an all inclusive resort and I’ll never do all inclusive again!

He was available 12 hours per day on just a phone call and was most helpful in helping others in our group to go to "Chichen Itza" via air. Very enjoyable and very comfortable.
