Casa Tropicale is a large
3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home with a lovely outdoor area. There is a
screened in patio, landscaped garden and a rock wall with
water that cascades into a split level fresh water swimming pool.
There's a
poolside palapa, covered terrace overlooking the pool and garden, dive gear rinse tank and storage area, and outdoor
fresh water shower.
Conveniently located in a quiet residential
area of town it's only 7 1/2 blocks to the main square and just 3
1/2 blocks to the public beach "Las Casitas".
The entire home is
furnished and decorated with a mix of Mexican and Tuscan design
influences. The custom made furniture and original paintings
throughout the home were crafted by local artisans. The bedrooms
are bright and spacious and each have private baths which are
decorated in richly colored tiles. There are Talavera sinks and
mirrors framed in hand set mosaic tiles.
Casa Tropicale is
centrally air conditioned with ceiling fans throughout but you'll
enjoy the island breezes as the home was designed for optimum cross
ventilation.
The garden surrounding
the pool is landscaped with banana trees, palms and other tropical
plants, and surrounded by privacy walls. The spacious rooftop
terrace overlooks the town and is perfect for enjoying the Caribbean
sunsets while sipping a margarita, relaxing under the palapa or on a
hammock or enjoying breakfast at one of the built in tables. The
two upstairs bedrooms also have private balconies overlooking the pool
and garden.
